Obtaining a Driving Licence C+E
The most complete HGV license is C+E. This license permits you to drive an HGV with trailers or semi-trailers that weigh more than 750 kg.
The training for category CE is typically an natural extension of the course leading to category C. It requires at least ten lessons which includes driving on training tracks and roads with varying traffic density.
Requirements
A driving licence is an official document that proves that a driver has fulfilled the legal requirements to drive. The requirements differ from one country to the next, but they all include passing the driving test and not having any traffic violations on record. The tests are generally divided into theory and practice but there are some exceptions to this rule. The first step towards getting a license is to complete the driving course and pass the theory test. The driver must also be physically fit to drive, and some countries require proof of this, including an exam for medical conditions.
The next step is to obtain the Category C license, or the Car copyright. This permits you to drive trailers, passenger vehicles and trucks that weigh up to 7.5 tons. If you already have a Cat C license, you can upgrade to the Category C + E license, which permits you to drive articulated heavy-goods vehicles that weigh up to 44 tons.
In order to obtain a Category C licence you must be 21 years old. This is the minimum requirement. However, you might be able to get one earlier if you've completed or are currently in the training for the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence. You must also hold an official copyright to qualify for the category C+E license.
The C+E category is the highest available hgv licence. The C+E licence combines both the categories of C and E and is the most comprehensive HGV license available. You must hold a Category C licence in order to qualify for the C+E licence, and you should also be able to pass a medical examination and a driving test.
In addition to passing the practical and theory driving exams in addition, you must pass an examination for medical conditions and eye exam. Training

The oral and written examinations are designed to be as authentic as possible. However, there are certain circumstances that might cause an examiner to deny you a license. This includes: if you were driving erratically during the test and/or involved in a crash or if you have violated any traffic rules, regulations or laws; or in the event that your vehicle was unsafe. You'll have to take the test again and pay additional fees if you have violated any traffic laws, rules or regulations.
Medical exam
To be qualified to drive a lorry on the EU one has to undergo an examination for medical reasons. A doctor will check the eyesight of the driver and his general health. Medical certificates allow drivers to obtain a C+E driving licence, valid for five years. The license is valid for renewal each year after the expiration date.
To pass the driving test you have to take two separate tests, one is theory based and the other practical. The theory test consists of 25 questions that you must answer in less than eight minutes. Some commenters questioned the use of the phrase "not-certified." The final rule uses the term "not-certified" to keep clear of any impression that a CDL holder does not have medical qualifications. This language also clarifies that the driver isn't being denied driving privileges as a result of any adverse actions taken by FMCSA. The final rule also requires the State-designated licensing authority (SDLA) to publish the medical certification status on the CDL holder's CDLIS driver record. This will help prevent false and fraudulent claims that the CDL holder is medically certified, when in reality they are not. The SDLA will be required to include contact information for the ME who conducted the medical examination on the driver's records, to further deter fraud. This requirement will remain in effect until FMCSA issues a new rule to address this issue. Motor carriers can keep an original or a copy of the ME's certificate to prove that a driver has medical qualifications, as they can prove the date on which the certificate was received by the ME.
